Bridesmaid Gift Idea

June 14, 2017

Last Friday during my bridesmaid brunch I popped the question “Will you be my bridesmaid?” and of course my ride and die gals said YES! I am so happy that my girls enjoyed my bridesmaid gift that I put together! I got a lot of ideas from Pinterest of course, but I wanted to personalize them myself. I decided to create them on my own by getting what I liked most from the different ideas and putting it all in one. With wedding plans and budget planning I knew I wanted something cute, unique, appreciated, and affordable! My total cost for my five Bridesmaid gift was less than $100.

Brunch: Birdie Bistro

I wanted to meet up with the girls somewhere we hadn’t been and had good recommendations, so I found Birdie Bistro located in McAllen Texas and what caught my eye was their brunch menu! I love the outdoor seating and a HUGE thank you to Birdie Bistro for allowing me to host my bridesmaid brunch upstairs in their patio! Their food was freaking delicious and I totally recommend their mimosas and Belgian waffles! I was impressed with their service; their waiters took care of us and I had such a great first experience there. I plan to go back again and I recommend you stop by if you if you live or visit the Rio Grande Valley.

Bridesmaid Gift Idea Materials

Floral Boxes ($5 each, but use the Hobby lobby coupons!)

Wine Glass ($1 each from Dollar Tree )

Circuit Vinyl Transfer Tape ($6, one is enough)

Cricuit Gold Adhesive Foil Stainless ($7, one is enough)

Floral Pencils (I got mine for $2 at Michaels, NA online)

Paper Gold Straws ($3)

Homemade Strawberry Cupcakes ($4 to make)

Drink Umbrellas ($1 for 10 at Michaels, NA online)

Easter Grass (Got mine after Easter for 20 cents each)

Wine ($4 each. On top of Moscato being a great wine, this was the only wine I found that fit my bridesmaid gift box, LOL The link is a different flavor, but thats the brand I got in Moscato)

Tips and free downloads for my bridesmaid gift idea

I already own sticker paper (found mine at Staples) and printed my wine logo “Will you be my bridesmaid?” on the sticker paper. After that simply cut and paste!

I created my own Save the Date for my bridesmaids because I wanted to include my wedding palate theme. I used the color schemes from Lowes and I used a box cutter to cut out the squares on my save the date and pasted the color schemes. This was a lot more work than I anticipated so if you have the patience, go for it! After pasting the color schemes, I had to glue another white paper to cover the back to make it look clean. I originally wanted to glue magnets behind the save the dates, but my darn glue gun wasn’t working. My suggestions would be to add a magnet and if you don’t want the hassle of cutting and gluing the color schemes just add your wedding colors on each square before printing out.

I hope you guys found my bridesmaid gift idea as cute as I did! I want to thank my bridesmaids for making this day fun and being such a great sport about the galore pictures that were taken! I am lucky to have them by side as I marry the man of of dreams! Side note, I so happen to have found this pink floral dress the day before that perfectly match my bridesmaid gift box and I thought that was pretty neat! I’m all about floral dresses this summer so you will probably be seeing them a lot this summer! A HUGE thank you to my momma for taking the photos and being so supportive and helpful for my bridesmaids brunch! If there are any questions regarding this post, as always feel free to comment below. Five ways to optimize Story time with baby: 1. Rea Five ways to optimize Story time with baby:
1. Read the book facing your baby and preferably at eye level. They love seeing your facial expressions.
2. Use Facial expressions, different level of tones, different voices, and singing while reading!
3. Buy pop up books and baby friendly books that allow you to use different sounds!!
4. Develop a daily routine for story time! We usually have story time during the day and before bed time!
5. Let your baby tell you how much to read. A babies span attention is 2-3 minutes on a task so try turning the page before you decide to put the book down!
What is your favorite thing to do during story time? By the way The Very Lazy Lion is Jonah’s favorite book! He enjoys all the pop ups and silly noises momma makes!

2020 in one picture. Pandemic, unpredictable, love 2020 in one picture. Pandemic, unpredictable, love, faith, and motherhood. I know that many of us are ready to put this year behind us, but I hope we take the life lessons that were learned from this year. Strength, vulnerability, health, being kind, holding on to hope, having faith, standing up for what’s right and using our voices, making personal sacrifices for others, not taking time for granted and living more in the moment, helping others in need, and counting our blessings.
