If you are a first time momma like me, then you probably have no idea what will be useful or not so you just want to add everything and anything. Well, after six weeks I have decided to share some items to my mommas out there that I have found to be VERY useful and think you will too. So whether it is your first baby or second, you might want to add these to your baby registry! I didn’t add your typical essentials, because I’m sure you know by now what those are. I also want to add for anyone expecting during this pandemic my prayers are with you and in case you missed it I have prayer for you that you can find here.
Below are my MUST HAVE items that you need to add on your baby registry and if you all have any questions please feel free to ask away in the comments below or DM.
Motorola® Comfort85Connect 5-Inch Video Baby Monitor
This Baby Monitor offers HD and the resolution is pretty amazing! I really like that I am able to view the baby through the tablet or simply from my phone. The tablet is compatible to add up to four different cameras so that is also neat. I currently have two cameras connected on my phone and I am able to take a peek at the baby whenever and conveniently. I like the fact that it has both these options, because if I am using my phone I can simply see him through the monitor. If I’m away or forget to get the monitor I have access on my phone.
Okay, this one is a life savior. The thought of having to cut my baby’s small nails did not sit well. I was so worried about hurting him, but luckily my sister told me about this one and she gifted it to me. Best thing EVER!! I use baby nail trimmer typically at night when Jonah is sleeping and it doesn’t hurt him or wake him. This is something you really need!
This bath I gifted for my sister and my nephew did really well with it. Jonah is also doing great with this bath tub. It grows with the baby from newborn to toddler and this is a great option if you don’t want to bathe the baby in the sink or don’t have a tub. It also has a vibration mode to soothe the baby.
Okay this is also another must have item for a baby! The regular baby mittens do not currently fit Jonah so they are constantly coming off. It is so annoying. Luckily I added Goumi Mitts, because like I said the first time momma here adding everything on the registry LOL. Anyway, these mittens are the only ones that have fit him since he was a newborn.
This sock has really helped me get sleep at night you all. This smart sock monitors the baby’s Heart Rate, Oxygen, and sleeping pattern. Whenever it is not within normal zone it will ring an alarm off in red to let you know. Now, I will say that we have had some minor issues with it. Since it does pick up motion sometimes, you might occasionally get an alarm that the baby is out of the zone even though the baby is fine.I did bring this up to the doctor, but he suggested to just study baby behaviour while it does go off. Also, make sure you place the sock correctly, or you will get out of place sock error. This is because the sock has been moved out of place on baby’s feet, but you can simply fix it. We got this alert alot the first week, but we learned how to properly place it and now we really haven’t gotten the error. I’m sharing this because it is a big purchase and I want you all to know some common errors before you decide to add it. These have been minor issues for us, but overall we really like this sock! You are able to track and view the baby’s history on the app as well. You do not need wifi for the base and sock to work, however you need wifi for the app.
Skip Hop Wipe Clean Changing Table
We already do enough washing in this household and let’s just say that the changing area can get messy sometimes. I mean messy. LOL. So, I’m glad that a friend of mine recommended this changing station because it really has saved us a lot of time. We have had our leaks and smudges , but when we are done changing baby we just simply wipe clean the area. No changing, changing pads nor washing sheets. It is also pretty spacious for babies and comes with a belt to strap down the baby.
This is an item that I did not have in my registry, but my sister told me about and I just recently got it. I love it. It is common for newborns to have stuffy noses, so this tool helps remove boogers that are close to coming out.
This chair has been so useful and has allowed us to eat a couple of meals together. The chair is made for newborn and grows with the baby. The toys that come with it entertain Jonah long enough for us to eat. I’m looking forward to using this as he grows.
The dockatot was recommended by many close family and friends so I decided to add it. We currently use this item for nap time and Jonah is doing really well with it. I know many use it for bedtime and maybe once Jonah grows out of his bassinet he will use it for bedtime too!
Baby Brezza Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer
This is also one of those that you really need to add. This saves us so much time. It is able to sterilize and dry the bottles and you have the option to choose how many minutes, combo of both or only one at a time. No need for a drying rack, once they are dry you can put away. Seriously, add this one!
Peg Perego Stroller and Travel System
We decided to go with this stroller for safety features it comes with. The car seat comes with one of the highest ratings and it is actually very easy to set up and use. We like that this set can convert to many features such as a bassinet, but can later be used for sitting when the baby grows. It can also be a double stroller, which is also pretty cool! It is light and easy to put away.
God Bless You Always
And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Great information for mommy’s to be.❤️
