Okay you all, I am in love with the red and black color combo! Maybe because it’s Christmas, or perhaps because I just love how comfortable and stylish this sweater is. I think that this look would be a perfect holiday outfit or a Christmas day outfit. Whatever occasion you decide I am sure you will totally rock it and holds as a nice holiday outfit idea. I wore this out yesterday as Michael and I did a little Christmas shopping, went to church, and a movie. I however was feeling under the weather all weekend, that we had to leave the movie and I even missed out on local Parade on Saturday that I was looking forward to. I am feeling a whole lot better though thank God!
Since returning to work I have taken on a couple of community projects since it is a time for giving and love. I have started my school campus with the Pasta for Pennies donation and the students are really trying hard to donate whatever they can. They are really enjoying giving back to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and going out to the community to get them involved to donate. I am also working on a Holiday Breakfast and Toy Drive for my campus where students, the community and the staff can donate a toy for their entry to a breakfast seat! Things are slowly coming along and I can’t wait to see the faces of the young lives we will touch by making their Christmas. I really like taking on projects like this because I think it is only right that we take some time in giving back and that our students see how passionate we are about doing good onto others, after all they are our future. I like to believe that by modeling this type of generosity and love, it will continue to be passed down for generations to come.
What are some of your favorite community projects that you like to give back around this time of year?
