Hi there loves, I will be entering 33 weeks this week and boy O boy are things starting to feel real. I can’t believe I’m a few weeks away from meeting my son. I am so in love with him already and I definitely feel like a Mama bear these days. I fell in love with these photos and how simple and intimate they came out. I even wore my wedding belt in these photos. I had to use a rubber band to wrap it around the belly lol, but I thought it was so beautiful that I was able to wear it during this shoot.
For today’s post I want to share some of the items I have found to be my favorites that have kept me sane mentally and physically throughout my pregnancy thus far. I hope that this post is helpful for my mommas to be! Click Photos to Shop.

Stretch Mark Cream
This one is a HUGE one and something that every woman gets paranoid about getting. I have read so many articles out there about creams and oil that swear by that prevent stretch marks, but honestly after talking to my doctor she explained that stretch marks are most likely heredity and although creams and oil help reduce the appearance, there aren’t any creams that will prevent you from getting them! So embrace those stretch marks momma, because those marks are daily reminders of what your body has the ability to do and create. At 27 weeks, I started to see faint stretch marks on my hips and at 30 weeks I had a few pop out on my lower abondemin section! I have been using Bio Oil and the Palmers Cream religiously since 16 weeks, twice, three times a day. Post baby I do plan on trying out the Bum Bum cream, I have heard from plenty of women that it really helps with reducing the appearance of stretch marks so I will give you guys an update on that.
Pregnancy Book
Okay Y’all, this book has seriously helped me SO MUCH! I love that this book takes you week by week with baby and mama updates. It talks about weekly symptoms, doctor visits and tests, body changes and so much more. I highly recommend it!
Pregnancy Pillow
I have a love and hate relationship with this pillow you guys. Lol. My first trimester I was all about this pillow and then my second trimester I just did not find it comfortable. I started using it again around 25 weeks and I will use it occasionally here and there. I’m still sharing this item with you all as one of my favorites because when I am using it, it hits the spot. I tend to use it backwards though, because since my feet swell at night, I like to elevate my feet on the pillow. It helps reduce my swelling in the morning.
Compression Socks
As I mentioned above, I do get swelling on my feet usually after standing for a while.I started swelling at 16 weeks, mainly because I was retaining water, but it got better late in the second trimester. At 30 weeks I started again with swelling, even more. So I started using my socks again and they have helped me!
Pixie Prenatal Pills
Let me say that I tried like five different prenatal pills, before my stomach settled well with these. As you all may know, I had major morning sickness my first trimester and for some reason the prenatal pills were making me even more sick. After discussing and trying out pills from my doctor, I really liked these and have stuck to these since. I believe these are prescribed only though, but totally worth it!
Baby Center App
This app was recommended to me by family members and I have found this app to be so helpful. In this app it takes you week by week on the growth and development of you and your baby’s body. There are also so many helpful articles that I like to read throughout the week to inform me about pregnancy and newborn information. I also like the fact that it has a community chat room that places you by birth month. Which means many women that have similar due dates as you, will be in the same chat and you can connect and seek support from them.
Slippers
Okay after being on my feet all day I wanted some comfy and cushion like slippers for my feet and I found that these slippers just hit that spot. I totally recommend you that you get yourself some comfortable slippers for home.
Memory Foam Shoes
As an educator I am constantly on my feet and walking class to class so I knew that I needed to get myself some comfortable shoes for work. I like the fact that sketchers offer cute styles and yet comfort, so I always get this brand when I’m looking for comfortable shoes.
Water Bottle
This is another item I highly recommend, especially if you are struggling with measuring or drinking water. I like the fact that I was able to track how much water I was consuming and it also serves as a reminder.
Humidifier
Okay so I get my occasional seasonal allergies and sometimes I get them hard. Being pregnant, you are pretty much limited with the medicine you can take and dust is one of things that gets my allergies going. I ordered this humidifier because it’s a good size and I mainly used it for work, since my desk is a dust collector. This one has a usb charge so you can even use it in the car if you want to. For being little, it actually shoots a lot.
God Bless You Always!
