In a world full of loud cities, cars honking, people networking, and moving at an ever increasing rate, it would be nice if time could stand still. It is very rare that a piece of nature can be handcrafted and worn to remind you how beautiful this world really is when we take some time to appreciate it.
This past weekend my boyfriend and I decided to take a quick getaway trip to the beach, because once work starts it will consume most of our time for the next several months. This Jord Zebrawood watch was the perfect accessory to pack for the weekend trip and I loved how the natural wood was so versatile to wear with different outfits. Every little detail on this women’s watch, flawlessly tells more than just time. It can reflect and represent the natural beauty in each and everyone’s inner style. With that said, during this getaway I got to thinking about time and wondering if I was really utilizing my time effectively. How does one really evaluate time? Somewhere between dipping my feet in the ocean, going crab hunting, and gazing up at the Milky Way from the sand dunes, I have learned that time can be measured by the moments we keep by doing what really matters to us.

Five tips to value TIME:
1. No Radio
On my way to work when I am feeling overwhelmed or pressed with time, silence is the best way to revamp myself. Having some silent time throughout the day provides time for self-reflection and slows down time.
2. Running
Running is a true medicine overall and while running I like to take different routes occasionally. Doing this allows me to come across new and different things I would have never seen by driving. Running helps me appreciate my surroundings.
3. Manage social media
Sometimes social media can be overwhelming and it is okay to step back. Managing your time on when to use social media can eliminate countless hours using social media. For example, during dinner time I more concerned about making conversation with the company I have, rather than being on my phone. I typically use 15 minutes in the morning and 30-45 minutes in the evening communicating or surfing through the web.
4. Travel
Taking time to adventure the world allows you to make memories. “Travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.” –anon.
5. Eliminate duties
If you are anything like me, than you know how hard it is to say no, but sometimes you need to. Don’t be afraid to say no sometimes and start re-evaluating your duties so that you can make more time for family, personal hobbies, and making memories.
